It was a comfortable stay. It was perfect for us as we were getting on the plane the next morning. They were great hosts. It would be great for a longer stay as they had some facilities to prepare some quick meals.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the White Rabbit Inn! It was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday. Although we didn’t have the chance to meet Sarah and Wes in person, we truly felt like we were visiting close friends. They are exceptional hosts—thoughtful, generous, and always available to help, yet respectful of our privacy.
Their warmth is reflected in every aspect of the inn, which is not only inviting but also fun and incredibly comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the facilities, especially the bathroom, which felt brand new. The “Alice in Wonderland” theme added a fun touch, which created a real experience without being overdone.
We loved starting or ending our days with a short walk to the shore for sunrise or sunset, and the hot tub under the stars was a perfect way to unwind after being out adventuring all day. The spaciousness of the accommodation made it feel like a true getaway.
There’s so much more to say about how great our stay was, including the comfortable bed and homemade baking, which was a real treat! All in all, we would return in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was awesome! All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room and hotel in general were spotlessly clean. Parking was plentiful and easily accessed. The location was good for access to main travel routes, but the local neighbourhood doesn't have a lot of interesting sights or things to do within walking distance.

Very comfortable and convenient stay for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable, supplied toiletries and detergents were natural, environmentally friendly, and smelled great! Very clean and well stocked. Walking distance to a great beach along the river the kids had the best time at! The hosts also supply a locked shed you can store bikes or other outdoor gear in. We loved our stay on the island! So many amazing outdoor activities. We would definitely recommend Bigfoot's rest and stay at this location again.
A truly home away from home. We'll equipped kitchen, plenty of tea and coffee provided, welcome kit (lots of baked goods, fruits and more waiting for us in the fridge). Living area and bedroom, quality entertainment system. To top it off there is a hot tub outside. This is a bargain, cheaper than a budget motel, and offering first-class accommodation.
The hotel is well-located and close to restaurants. My trip aimed to visit Mt Washington and I found the location of this hotel to be good for going to the resort.
The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff were helpful. The room has facilities such as a coffee machine and microwave.
To start, the location was pretty bang on, too bad it was raining a lot so we couldn't walk too much around the area. The staff was super nice from the start, check-in was very good, very polite and friendly staff which made it super easy. The room was big, comfy and very clean, with some coffee. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to use the pool or the bathtub, but we went to the spa, which was incredible. The restaurant, Local, is incredible, amazing food. We are definitely coming back.
The breakfasts were very tasty and nicely presented and included fresh local fruit. The room was comfortable and very clean. The common room has a beautiful view of the estuary so you can look out while having breakfast Veera is a lovely, friendly person and made us feel very welcome. She even picked us up at the airport (for a fee, but cheaper than a taxi), which was very appreciated.
