I loved the garden room for the feel of sleeping in a tropical forest but worth mentioning: there are noisy tree frogs in the garden. as I'm a light sleeper, Matt offered ear plugs :)

Kilauea House está a 18 km de Kilauea y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Perfectly located a short drive from the national park entrance. The hosts were lovely and gave us local tips (one of them is a ranger at the national park). The room was so carefully appointed and the breakfast was fantastic, with so much food and a great variety. The garden outside the room was lovely too.

The owners of the B and B went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They gladly offered the use of the snorkels,googles and umbrella for beach days. They also gave us headlamps and binoculars to view the lava at night. We felt so incredibly welcome. The breakfasts made by Ping were delicious! Stelley and Max were so helpful. The area is incredibly peaceful and you only hear the sounds of nature. We were offered to help ourselves to the amazing fruit growing in Pings enormous garden.

El Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat es un chalet situado en Volcano, a 16 km de Kilauea y a 9,6 km de la entrada del parque nacional del Volcán. Flexible check-in. We came in late from lava viewing and the owners were super accomodating. Very clean, comfy, beautiful property.

The room was spotless and Tomami cleaned it every day while we were out. Hand made breakfast was also included which we got to eat in a small breakfast nook with ocean views. This B and B was paradise.
