Overall, a great experience. I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did. It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me. The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.

Even though we were across the river from the Munster, the free tram was less than a minute from our door and could bring you anywhere in the city. We mostly walked to the central area and could be there within 10 minutes. Happily we discovered the Claraplatz Christmas market was on our street with more gourmet food options than I could count. Additionally, the COOP grocery store was within steps of the apartment and had fresh baked goods, sliced meats and cheeses, drinks, etc. We were glad to have a full kitchen and drying rack in the bathroom for minor laundry we needed to wash/dry. My children very much enjoyed being able to unwind with a little familiar TV with the Netflix subscription.

Loredana waited for us at the apartment and helped us to carry the bags up and down. She is kind and friendly, provided us with a map and the buses to take to the various attractions. The apartment is extremely clean and spacious with all the facilities required for cooking.
