The house is directly by the Danube with two small swimmable beaches right there.

Offering garden views, Gästezimmer Ilse Brauneis is an accommodation situated in Mautern, 36 km from Melk Abbey and 7.2 km from Dürnstein Castle. Me and my husband spent a couple of nights here, and it was a very nice place. The room was very clean and cozy and the yard is just beautiful and full of wonderful plants. The breakfast was very good nd the hosts were very nice and helpful. We hope to return some day.

I was a bit worried about the temperature in an attic apartment in the summer but the AC and provided fans made the space very comfortable.
