I loved the breakfast and personalized communication throughout the seamless virtual check in process. The location is excellent and grounds are beautiful. I did feel that the furniture was a bit dated and would have appreciated modernization of some of the amenities. Overall, had an excellent stay though!

Our stay at the Bath Street Inn was wonderful. We were only there for one night but I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating with breakfast in the morning. I requested a vegan breakfast and they went above and beyond to provide a delicious and filling meal. They also have fresh cookies in the lobby each afternoon and when we arrived there were vegan cookies waiting for me. I'm sure they would go above and beyond to accommodate any dietary request.

I didn’t like anything even the price was too much for this “DUMP”!!! Because it was “NON REFUNDABLE” I had to stick it out! I felt like I was staying in a cardboard box and everyone from the outside could hear my TV on etc. This place has NOT been taken care of…“The landscaping has been let go & everything seems over grown & out of control!” A real Fire hazard! The place needs major updates and improvements both on outside and inside-in my room the shutters seemed like they didn’t fit the windows so at night with the lights on you could see right through my room- I had to clip a painter’s tarp to shutter's that I just happened to have in my car. I ate the breakfast the first day & the eggs were so greasy that I got a stomach ache “needless” to say I didn’t go to breakfast on the 2nd day!
It just seems like the owner doesn’t want to put the money it takes to keep this place up everything in the room I stayed in needs to be stripped down architecturally on the inside & outside & redone the right way!

The home was exactly as advertised and pictured. It was immaculate when we arrived, the location was picturesque, and the home was beautiful. Lines of communication with the owners were excellent and rapid, instructions for arrival and departure were easy, and the whole experience was stellar. Staff was very positive and helpful. Rooms were nicely cleaned as often as you requested. Nice swimming pool. Free bike rental. Pool and beach towels are provided for your use.
Great location to many walkable shops and restaurants in Coast Village Montecito. Butterfly beach is a 12-15 minute walk away and is beautiful (but no bathroom facilities.) Many other nice beaches (with facilities) are a 10 to 20 minute drive away.

For all the years that my husband and I have selected vacation rentals both in the States and abroad, the Bath Inn stood out as exceptional in a number of ways. We both were extremely relaxed and comfortable at the Inn due to the warm and helpful staff, the beautiful surroundings, the delicious breakfasts, cookies and evening wine. The Inn was clean and comfortable; the guests friendly and down to earth. We loved our 4 day stay at the Bath Inn.
Location was exceptional and the stay was quiet and calm in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy access to quaint cafes and shops along Coast Village Rd. The beds were amazing and had a good nights rest. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Its a small and charming Inn located in a prime area , perfect for a few days of rest.
We ended up being put in a room at Villa Rosa-right next door (sister hotel?). Beautiful room, beautiful hotel with gorgeous antiques in the lobby and throughout the building. Melodie at the front desk was awesome. Both hotels are across the street from the beach and a quick walk to State Street.
Loved Villa Rosa! They have a great happy hour and breakfast, that we all enjoyed! It was charming, unique, a very lovely setting. It does need some updating!
My daughter liked the breakfast items. I noted they were all gone by 8:30 though most days. Location best reason to stay here. My second reserved room ended up at the “villa” across the street. Nice amount is space and perk of separate sitting room .
