The location was super convenient for us and it was lovely to stay on the water. The unit had everything we needed.
The host was very responsive, and the check-in process was seamless. Parking was always available. It was fun to see the seaplane and helicopter coming and going right outside, and it's only during the day so the noise wasn't a bother. Having the Good Earth (top-notch organic supermarket) a few minutes away is fantastic!

The room was roomy enough, had a comfortable bed, nice shower amenities and the location of the hotel is great! Close to Union Square, lots of good restaurants (Matador - Mexican, Pinecrest - 24hr diner) and bars (John Foley's, The Irish Bank, Zombie Village). Loved the Beat Generation vibe of the hotel and the cool decorations and quotes around the room, hallways and lobby area. PLUS the attached BlueStone Coffee shop has a great cold brew!

It was good to see an upgrade of some things at Orange Village. I have been staying there for the last 10 years when ever I visit the bay area.
What I like is the elevator now has the swipe card feature which also functions as your room key. No more inserting a key in the key hole to the rooms. That's very convenient.
Good service from Arnold, Moji, and other staff at the front desk at Orange Village. Maria from room service was polite and helpful as well. Keep up the good work everyone.
The Orange Village Hostel was very clean and extremely well-run. I made friends with some new dorm-mates, and it was nice to have a bathroom with a bathtub attached to our room. The location (near Market Street, Bay Area Rapid Transit, and the fabulous Fisherman's Wharf was great! I would definitely book this place again! The free breakfast (fruit, coffee, cereal was fabulous and saved me some money. Also, everything was fresh and the dining room was very comfortable!
This is the Best Hostel. It is literally in the Center , Downtown San Francisco Union Square area.
There are Supermarkets, Eating places near the Hostel.
I had a room for my self which had all Amenities!
The staff is friendly and always willing to help.
I highly recommend Orang Village Hostel to International Travellers and California Residents don’t bother by chance they took me in as i didn’t know that locals aren’t allowed!
