Adorable historic bed and breakfast. Right downtown so I could walk to many wonderful restaurants and shops. Room was super clean and well appointed. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and a delightful bonus . So glad I found this place!

The location is excellent. We did a lot of walking in the morning and people who were out and about were very friendly and welcoming. Nice neighborhood!

Got code before we arived. Put code into the door and we were able to go in and out as we pleased with the code. I really enjoyed the large living room space and the two chairs and table on the back porch. Having access to washing and drying machines was a bonus even though we didn't need to use them. It was wonderful to be able to walk down the block to the entrance to the beach.
We loved the location of this lovely vacation home! We drove to the Trader Joe's in SLO on the first night and cooked out of the beautiful, well-stocked kitchen the entire weekend. We enjoyed the hot shower after long days on the beach, and staying up at night reading historical books we bought at the local bookstore. Truly a relaxing, wonderful stay.
Convenient location (by the way, Morro Bay is quite a small village, so in any case it is difficult to stay far from main streets and the riverside
Parking availability
Morro Bay is a nice little village on the Highway 1. Fireside Inn is a simple motel and fits perfect for a short stopover. Rooms are big and the beds are good.
