My family and I went on a vacation over the weekend. We all extremely loved the property. The owner and his wife were extremely loving and caring and sweet people. The rooms were beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. My family didn’t want to leave. It was a great experience at Amber Lantern Duplex Cottage. I look forward to booking a place again at this place. Loved that it’s super dog friendly! Location was central to get to both Lake George and Saratoga and go on hikes and restaurants. We loved the free access to the kayaks and paddle boats. And we like the cabin’s enclosed porch area (it rained once), the fire pit and the grill.

Best of both worlds. Very convenient to all that Lake George offers, but away from the crowds and congestion of the Village on spacious, sunlit, nicely maintained grounds on a hillside above the lake. Accommodations are rustic, with roomy porches,patio furniture and grills overlooking a sweeping lawn.

The property was well maintained, the room decor was updated and clean, and quiet in regard to other guests. The pool was great for a late afternoon swim on a hot day and location was quiet and short drive to village.
