The beds were comfortable, the living area comfortable and setting was serene. Easy area to take a walk or run without lots of traffic. Great location for easily getting to GTNP or into Jackson.

Stunning surroundings and great location. A real family home, very cosy and even had a selection of books and maps. I loved the package of local coffee that was in the kitchen. Even so we didn’t cook, there was a cupboard full of spices and herbs.

The check in process was super easy! The morning breakfast was delicious, I would stay again!

The area/location is incredible. We liked being outside of Jackson, too, and all the biking/hiking/wildlife. The condo was super nice, enjoyed the balcony and even saw a moose walk by. Close to good restaurants and liked the small neighborhood grocery store.

Where to start! We loved our stay at Jackson Hole Hideout. It is the antidote to overpriced generic chain hotels. The whole concept is really well thought through. It’s a beautiful small lodge in the woods, 10 mins drive outside Jackson with about 8 rooms. There is a large social breakfast /kitchen area, shared lounge space with piano, library and games, and shared outdoor terrace in addition to the private rooms many of which have private balconies. The design is beautiful wood construction - high ceilings and well sized rooms. The feeling is that of staying in a “home from home”, in that the owners and innkeepers have anticipated every practical detail you might need for a vacation in the area (e.g. pantry with snacks, bear spray, binoculars). But it nails the feeling of it being “your” home for the days you are there - and this is so hard to achieve. It really is all in the details- most of which aren’t listed or mentioned in the venue listing. Huge credit and mention must go to the hosts/innkeepers Amy and Eddy. Exceptionally welcoming, incredibly helpful with advice on trails etc in the area, fantastic breakfast being laid on with a different menu every day. Can’t speak highly enough of their warmth as people, but also professionalism as hosts. It was a genuine pleasure to chat with them, and also multiple other guests during our stay. I stay in a lot of hotels, and am usually pretty underwhelmed with the larger brands especially at the more ‘luxury’ end of the price spectrum. Jackson Hole Hideout is that rare place that offers a distinct and premium experience for people who find the branded places too soulless and ‘nickel and diming’. It has character and quality.
