Lovely, spacious room for our family of four, with two double beds, sofa bed and a good kitchen. Staff were friendly and we parked our car in a car park in the next block (cheaper than the hotel itself). We'd got off an overnight flight from Sydney and arrived hours before the supposed check-in time of 3pm. However we told the reception staff that we'd had almost no sleep and they very kindly got our room ready and allowed us to check in at noon, which was wonderful. The location is fabulous, just next to the lagoon and at one end of the stunning Waikiki beach.

As expected solid stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Lots of tourists as expected, but the hotel served as a good base for HNL business, with easy access to taxis, transport, and an ABC store to keep the refrigerator stocked. Union staff at hotel was top flight.
Low key and convenient. Lacked the craziness of the all the tourists waiting in line next door at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for food and chaises. Walking distance to the best mall in America, Ala Moana.
The hotel is in an excellent, walkable location, which is right across from the beach. It's also located on Kalakaua Ave., which is basically the Waikiki "strip," so this allows you to pretty much walk to all of the touristy places like The International Marketplace, Moana Surfrider, The Royal Hawaiian Center, and The Hilton Waikiki Village to name a few. Overall the stay was very comfortable and pleasant with decent views of the ocean (partial views).
Property had all the comforts of a luxury condo rental ( kitchen, lanai, bedrooms, ocean view) plus the amenities of a hotel (daily housekeeping, towel service, valet). Location was excellent with clean and kid friendly beach steps from the property. We have rented many vacation homes around the world and this was one of the best.

Generally the word “village” is not just word play. It is indeed a VILLAGE. Big site with lots of shops, even a Louis Vuitton has their own building in the middle.
Location.The hotel is between two streets. One side is next to Hilton village . The other side is 10 minutes walking to Ala Moana shopping center.
Also the room is clean and has everything we needed.
