The location was nice because of the proximity to the local wineries and downtown Fredericksburg. Each Bungalow was situated far enough from the others that you didn’t hear any noise. It had a nice outdoor space with a working gas fire pit.

Everything, including the seating outside and on the top roof, the beautiful deers around the property, and the fact that I could see the full moon and the sunrise, was terrific. We also had all the basic stuff, including toothbrushes, which was very thoughtful of our Host.
The only little thing that was unpleasant was the smell of Fabuloso cleaner upon our arrival, but fortunately, it went away after we opened all the doors.

Hill Country Haven was absolutely beautiful, and it felt like home away from home. This location was very close to Main Street and 290, perfect for shopping, wineries and breweries. I've never stayed in a cleaner vacation rental! We (family) utilize rental 5-8 times a year and my habit is to always pack Lysol and clorox bleach wipes, this is the first time that I have ever considered not using my own cleaning supplies!!! Very comfortable home.
