The apartment was very nice and new with new appliances and furnishings. Tiziana and her family were very friendly and looked after any requests. The apartment is in the nice small town of a Mergozzo and only steps from the beautiful lake.

There is so much to like. The apartment has been well renovated with lots of nice touches to feel like you are at home. It also has a complete kitchen so you can cook with all the crockery, glassware and utensils you'd need. Along with a large fridge and dishwasher. The washing machine was also appreciated. One of my favourite things was the view from the apartment over the lake and to the mountains. I watched the sunrise every day. It was beautiful. There's a table and chairs on the balcony so great for a morning coffee. Manuela the host is lovely. She left a number of things in the apartment to enjoy including coffee and biscuits, and checked in on me over message a number of times. I highly recommend this villa. Great location - the hotel is in the center of the village, opposite a wonderful lake and mountains. Private beach across the road, good breakfasts. I was impressed by the excellent restaurant right by the water, high level of service and taste and presentation of dishes for lunch and evening. Beautiful old town where you can walk in the evening. A great place for people who want to enjoy a quiet holiday, nature, Italian atmosphere and beauty. We plan to come again more than once, not far from Zurich. We were completely delighted.
The region is amazing, but mergozzo and this little farm hidden in the outskirts of the village was an amazing surprise.
