An experience to stay here. Carlotta who seems to manage the bookings, was very communicative and helpful (advice on where to park and she also helped me to book a table). The room was warm, clean and cosy. The building is very old so expect things to feel traditional and authentic in that sense. The entrance door from the square is very unassuming yet leads into a large undercover cavernous area, towards the lift, part of this area is open to the interior courtyard. Quite quirky but feels safe and interesting. We arrived quite late and only stayed for one night and didn't not hav etime for breakfast the next morning but the breakfast room looked beautiful.

We were able to walk to the property from the train station. The directions were very clear & the key was in a lock box because we arrived early. The room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfast was delicious. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace, with comfortable furniture. The apartment is in an excellent location for wandering the streets of the old town with plenty of choices of cafes. The BnB is on street level but there are a few stairs to the first level. This wasn’t a problem for us. The staff were very friendly.

A peaceful and cosy place. Nicely decorated with old furniture. Celeste is a very warm and friendly person (and her sister as well). Ample breakfast with eggs, toast, fresh fruit, and gluten free products. It's a short and easy walk to the old town. We really enjoyed the serenity and relaxed atmosphere after a day out exploring the area. Lucca is a town we keep coming back to, and Villa Catelli is certainly a great place to stay.
Location was awesome. It is quite and feels very village like. A train crossing is nearby and you hear it often making it feel like some story setting. All the supermarkets and shops were within 5 km. Lucca and Pisa centres are within 30mins drive. The hosts are excellent and friendly. Fabbio is just a fabulous host 😊. The property has a proper kitchen to cook meals, a comfy swimming pool and ample space.

This is a beautiful villa in an amazing location. Lorenzo and his team are delightful and helpful in every way. We stayed with a huge extended family and everyone had privacy and room to relax. The villa has everything needed and many places to be together. The gardens, house and pool were all fantastic. Nothing is disappointing. Highly recommended in all respects.
