A great location, gorgeous views, a busy neighborhood - calm after 11 pm, a huge private terrace, a fantastically equipped place and lots of greedy looks from other tourists 😄 that's what you get if you stay at Captain's House. Great apartment in a nice location on the hill above Lovran. Spotlessly clean and the pool was great. Very well equipped with air conditioning in the living room (very welcome in the summer heat!) and very helpful host. Kids loved the pet tortoises too!

The seaside view from the balcony (also visible from the room) was awesome. The owners are very pleasant and helpful people: the lady owner cooked for us some pancakes with cottage cheese and jam in the morning and let me wash my clothes in the washing machine; her son gave us few lifts to the seaside on his car. When we were checking-out the lady owner also gave us some sacks with dry lavender – so nice :) The location is very green and quiet, it's about 18 min walk uphill from Lovran old town and the seaside. We had a bedroom with a living room and kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all possible utensils, cups, glasses and dishes. It was nice to spend time on the balcony. There were ropes outdoors to dry swimming suits and other stuff. The place is exceptionally clean.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The owner was very kind and professional and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable the entire property was extremely clean, the pool was very relaxing at the end of a sea day. The hotel is located just a short 2 minute walk down to a sea walk which you can use to walk around most of the nearby coastline with numerous entrances to the sea water. We were extremely happy with our choice to stay at The Hotel Villa Vera.

There were other guests and people who live in villa as well, but there is more than enough space and privacy. The villa is few minutes away from the town centre. We parked on the street, just across the street. There is a bigger beach just 5 minutes away, if you want that as well. The owner is very kind and friendly, and he invited us for a drink and small talk in the garden.

We are returning guests of Villa Eugenia that explains how much we love it. The kindness of all the staff members is very unique unfortunately as of today. Everyting is so clean and romantic in the Villa. Just like having breakfasts in the garden. The beach is about 3 mins walking distance, Lovran downtown is about 10mins also by foot.
Villa Eugenia is no doubt one of the best fair value opportunities in Opatija Riviera.

Amazing stay, exceptional breakfast, lovely garden area, and beautiful view. The location is an easy walk to the centre in 15 minutes downhill, and for back to the Villa you can call Ivan to pick you up in the electric Tuktuk. Driving to Croatia with an electric car was also fine, and great that we could charge at the Villa. Definitely recommend!
Everything was exceptional. The host was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us a map and gave us tips and tricks on how to get around Lovran. The nights are quiet and cool in the summer. Our balcony was overlooking the forest and you can see an occasional deer. We also had breakfast in the villa made by the host nd it was very delicious. I would definitely recommend staying in this place for its exceptional hospitality and great location.
Lovely old villa (but completely renovated!) close to the center of town. The hotel was not fully booked as it was still the low season so we were kindly given a nice upgrade to the room we had booked.

The room was very spacious, so was the bathroom. Direct view on the sea side. Private beach was great too, water is very clean. Hotel offers 20 EUR dinner option for guests, which is tasty and great. Its a walkable distance to the next village. Enough parking space. Great staff. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
