This beautiful appartment is just some steps away from Riez center, which is super handful if you want to experience Provence as a local. Riez is a charming town and this recently renovated appartment is everything you need to enjoy the most of your stay. It's super close to Valensole, if you are planning to visit lavender fields, and also close to Lake Sainte-Croix (wonderful place). There are also good restaurant options in the surroundings. The location was just perfect! There's a local market every Saturday almost in front of the appartment where you can find local quality products for a good price. Sandrine, the manager, was super kind and helpful during our stay. Elodie, the owner, also offered us a warm welcome there. We have stayed in more places in Provence, but this one was definitely the most magic and especial experience.

If you are in the area to see the lavender fields this is the most centralized spot for the best viewing experience with ease for getting out quickly for sunrise and sunset photos. The breakfast was wonderful throughout our trips, and the centralized kitchen for guests to use was a welcomed change of pace from eating out for every meal. The family was extremely accommodating to help plan a birthday dinner for my husband, and their dog Perry is super friendly and made us feel more 'at home.' The house is located such that the nighttime and morning breeze kept the room cool and comfortable.

Very quiet and peaceful location. Easy to do day trips from here to Valensole, Moustiers-Sainte Marie, Sainte Croix Lake, and Verdon Gorge. Lovely resort on a Roman theme. Lovely pool and grounds well off the road. 3 minute drive to Riez village for a quick meal. Comfy beds. Generous breakfast included. Very helpful staff.

Bastide is located at a ranch at the edge of a village named Riez. It is a clean, simple, and quiet place in nature. The owner, Gijel, is a super nice lady. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place, located at Verdon center, it may be exactly what you want.

Beautiful stay in Casa Augusta. Our host was lovely and very helpful from the start. The house is wonderful and the interior and rooms are beautifully decorated, very high attention to detail which is hard to come by! The place feels very luxurious & mimics that of a luxury hotel. Our room had a brilliant view towards the village. There was a lovely pool with another lovely viewpoint & a shared mini fridge to keep food/drinks.

The apartment is newly renovated and clean. The air conditioners work really well and are quiet - we slept well despite it being very hot while we were there. The shower worked well and the water was hot. Riez is a very nice village, we actually liked it more than Valensole. The market on Saturday was also wonderful.

The host was extremely nice and helpful. He recommended great spots to eat and some amazing towns nearby. He was very helpful in both English and French. The view from the room's patio was breathtaking. We will absolutely book this villa for our next trip to Provence!

It was a privilege to stay at Bastide de Mayan, like living in a Roman villa for a few days. The road outside the property took straight into Riez and then along the Verdun Gorge, amazing views and spectacular drives.

Perfectly located close to the center of the village. A short walk to one of the Boulangeries for the breakfast baguette and to shops and restaurants. Market at the square 2 days a week plus one eveningmarket was very nice. Easiest to park the car at the schoolparking instead of keeping track of what days you are allowed or not allowed to park at the square! A lovely village, close to both La Gorge du Verdon and Lac d'Esparron in lovely surroundings.
