The rooms were absolutely lovely and beautiful. Marianne and Stéphane are such good hosts. They even told us about the history of the building and as history nerds we really appreciated it! Breakfast was wonderful in a beautiful setting. Listen to Stéphane when he tells you which restaurants are worth visiting. The fact there is a private parking was a massive plus!

I booked on short notice when my travel plans changed suddenly and I needed to stay one night in Carcassonne. This turned into a pleasant surprise with Lila’s place! Her communication was perfect and made for a seamless check in. The apartment was spotless and was equipped with tea, coffee, juice and various items for breakfast which is such a nice touch. Very comfy bedding, blankets and a couch with Netflix, streaming services and international channels on the TV.

The room was very nice and the building is very characterful. The bed in our room was massive and very comfortable. We enjoyed staying here very much.It is a lovely place to stay.
Unfortunately on the day of our arrival we were delayed and arrived much later than expected but Catherine was very accommodating and it was not a problem.
Catherine was a great host, really friendly and helpful. She also made nice crêpes, croissants and coffee which was a delightful way to start each morning!

Beautiful private villa with two large comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped living area. The daily breakfast was great and very substantial. We also requested dinner each evening which was a delicious three course meal with a bottle of local wine. This was a great option, especially when travelling with a toddler as we were able to enjoy dinner as a couple when he was asleep. Highly recommend.

Our family of 8 people, ages 2 to 71 had a wonderful holiday. The swimming pool is large and clean, the gardens are extensive, you could always find a quiet spot and the villa is very well equipped and situated less than 10 minutes walk from the medieval city.
La Villa Carcassonne is a true gem, perfectly located just steps from the medieval city. We loved the warm welcome, the serene atmosphere of the villa, and our charming room with stunning citadel views. Onsite parking made exploring easy. Don't miss the beautiful garden and refreshing pool

Cute wee spot with nice decor, right below the medieval village and if you poked your head out the window you could see it! A unique house in a great location.
Prompt communication from the owner. The flat is beautiful and clean. Yes there is a tiny room without windows but my teenage boy loved it, so no complaint about that. We didn’t mind the stairs, after all it’s on a rooftop in a medieval city, so we weren’t expecting a lift. The shutters are beautiful and did the job. It’s the kind of place you wish you could have as a holiday home.I would totally come back!
