It is in a small village with a rich history. There property reflects the traditions and style of many generations. It is quintessential France. It is hosted by someone who has deep roots in the area so is able to offer helpful suggestions to create a unique and fascinating experience.
Villa Korum is located to the north of Bergerac in an elevated position with beautiful views over the town and surrounding area. A hire car made access to the town easy.
The location was further from Bergerac than suggested but was pleasant. The staff at Lagrange were particularly helpful, especially when the wrong information was given to me by Belvilla .
Our hostess was very personable, friendly, and helpful. Our accommodation was comfortable and well stocked. The location was excellent for exploring the historic area of the city and for traveling to the surrounding towns and villages of the area.
The location was perfect, very clean with everything you could need to make it a home from home experience. Jean Marie and Sylvie were very hospitable. The weather was dismal and they tried to suggest things to do - offering to book trains and restaurants. 5 minute walk into the historic village. Pick-up and drop off to airport was 10 euros each way and a lovely gesture. If we are back in Bergerac we will stay again.

This is a charming property with the very best of hosts that are clearly dedicated to making your stay there as perfect as possible. Bergerac is a beautiful village and this property is nicely located for a gentle walk into town along the river. The breakfast was fresh, ample and delicious, and we particularly appreciated the china it was served on. The work the owners are doing on the property really make a difference in the accomodation and are most tastefully done.
Jeremy and I were here with Jeremy’s son Thomas to enjoy his birthday week. which gave us to time to enjoy his company since before COVID-3 years ago. The owners, Lise and Patrick were very friendly with Thomas and had great conversations. Breakfast was amusing at times and if we didn’t understand French or English we used our phones to translate.
Lise is a qualified massagers and I had a delightful massage on my last evening which ended our time in Bergerac perfectly and to explore the region for our search for a holiday home.
