Casa La Quintana is superb in all respects. Our bathroom had a proper bath with plug! There are at least 4 bedrooms in the house, each with an en suite bathroom. Downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge / dining room. We had the place to ourselves. If the house was full, and all guests were wanting to cook, it might get a bit hectic.
The village of Oceno feels a world away from the bustle of Arenas de Cabrales, Poncebos and the Cares Gorge. Parking is easy. There are no shops. There is one (good) restaurant. Nobody speaks English. There is no wi-fi or phone signal. Awesome!

You pay for what you get. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Basic. No aircon which is an issue on warm nights. Breakfast basic but OK- coffee, tostada and juice. 5 min walk to village, 8 mins to bus for cares walk etc.
The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. It overlooked the river. The location was perfect as in the centre of the village/town. Breakfast was very good. Staff were really friendly.
Clean, spacious room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location for centre of the village. We were able to leave our car in their car park so we could get the bus to Poncebos (bus stop just over the bridge behind the hotel).
There was a lovely cat there that we liked very much 🐈 Parking and check-in super easy, close enough to the centre of the village. Very clean and homely. The cat was the best bit though.
we had a beautiful time in this apartment. it was in good conditions, spacious and with the view on the mountains. also, there is a free parking behind and few trails that starts from the village. we would definitely go back.
Great location. Friendly staff. Breakfast starts late (8am) so we bought some breakfast at the supermarket. Great place if you’re planning to hike the Ruta del Cares. Las Arenas is a nice village.

The room was lovely, very characterful. The shower was very powerful with plenty of hot water.
We didn't use the facilities for cooking, although they were there for anyone who wanted to cook for themselves.
