I was kind of confused at first, but then I found my way around. Nikki was great and I will recommend. It’s a nice quiet place me and my husband had the whole place to ourselves, so it was great.

I loved the fact that I had my own pool and did not have to go to a crowded pool and be around strangers. The villa was very spacious for two people and well equipped with everything but food. I also liked the fact it was in a guarded community.
I had a great stay at the Villa Mar Sousa. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice clean bathroom. Also, you have safe to store your valuables. However, the room had no A/C only a ceiling fan which you could adjust the speed. The lighting in the room is something that could be worked on. However, overall it was a good stay.

I was so pleased with my experience at Villa Mar Sosua that I ended up staying twice more on my 3 week trip traveling around the DR! BEAUTIFUL property, cutely decorated rooms, and very kind staff. As a solo female traveler in the DR for my very first time, I was a bit nervous about safety - and I felt SO SAFE here on this property. Parking was easy, and they have a restaurant on site too (though I didn't end up getting to try it).
I really liked the property itself and initially felt the price was good. The villas are beautiful and it’s a good price for what you get. This was my second time staying here as I had an amazing stay my first time.
Was able to do late check in at 23:30, and even though being late the owner was very friendly and professional. Very private villa - will return with my chaps there again!
