Our appartment had a great layout with views over the village and valley. A separate well stocked kitchen with a bar sit into the living room. The bathroom was nice and warm.
Spacious apartment, very clean, magnificent view. Excellent location literally on the slopes. Ski school pretty much next door, ideal for the kids. Not much going on in the village but there is a nice restaurant and bakery within 50m.
The hotel is located in a beautiful little quiet village a few km's from Winterberg itself. When we there it had just snowed so we could go walking through the pristine snow.
Our room was clean, very cozy and spacious with great views. The owner was most helpful and really thought about our needs.
We liked the concept of the hotel (ie., little houses stuck together like a small village), though it also implies many stairs and hallway doors within and between the different buildings.

Well equipped holiday home in the middle of nature. Great autumn landscapes and very close to hiking tracks. Loved the fireplace to warm up in the evenings.

The flat is very homey, a bit older and the elderly couple who owns it lives in the same house. They are so friendly, caring and loveable. To bring our dog wasn't a problem at all. The lady offered us to bring breakfast rolls from the bakery nearby every morning. The garden is lovely. The location is ok, the village itself is cute and offers some nice sides to go for a walk.
