Very charming hotel, full of history. The building seems to have been there in various forms for centuries. The rooms are a little old fashioned and the bathroom quite basic (by modern standards) but it was clean and had everything we needed. We were on a bike tour and arrived wet and muddy and were able to wash our bikes and keep them in the shed. We were able to have dinner at a place about 2km away that we walked to. The breakfast was amazing- a really rich selection in the beautiful dining room.

The owners greeted us and spoke perfect English which made up for our complete lack of German. Room was very clean and well kept with loads of amenities, the mini fridge has soft drinks and there was a kettle and coffee machine in the room, really nice touches.
