Cozy comfortable cabin with stunning mountains view. We spent 6 days in the wonderful apartment. with our 2 children and our dog, we all slept comfortably, the beds were just right. it was warm enough in the house during mid December, and there was a beautiful fireplace too. the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need for home cooking. beautiful nature hikes are within walking distance from the house. The host was super nice. wholeheartedly recommend this place

Outdoor picnic table in nice garden. Friendly and helpful hosts - who speak English if needed. Great location in the middle of Saxon Switzerland and the Malerweg. Rathen itself is definitely the most quaint of the towns on the Elbe. s-bahn just across the river. Nicest place I have stayed in 10 years of European travel.

Plenty of crockery and a coffee-maker and stove top (which I didn't use). Very reasonable price for the area.
