Privacy was good. Breakfast was prepared to order and always on time. Room size was ample for 1 or 2 people. Balcony was nice to have. It was about a 10 min walk to the metro station and less to a train station. The hotel staff was accommodating to my very late arrival and early starts in the morning. He also was very helpful with advice about getting around the city and solving logistical issues.
its a great property and very well maintained by wonderful hosts. Only issue was it has stairs and no lift so had to lift the luggage. Otherwise a great place to stay and bus station echichen village is just 5 mins away. The house and the host are awesome.
The hotel is in a nice, quiet and relaxing location back from the village center, a 10-15 minutes walk from the lake and many food options in town. Large free parking ahead of the property. Rooms are essential in decor, large and modern in style.
Very good breakfast with choice of local and industrial products.

All in all a pleasant stay for business.
This hotel is in an old villa so I suspect not all rooms are the same. We had a decent sized room with a very big bathroom, which was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental style. There was no cooked option which was not a problem for us. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the station with views of the lake and beyond.
