The B&B has a great location right on the lake with easy access by car to amazing hiking areas. The breakfast was generous and included delicious homemade baked items as well as excellent coffee. The host, Ariane, was warm, friendly, and responsive. She and her helper lent us a new paddle board that we took on the lake.

A room in a very lovely house. Right next to mountain and facing to the lake. You can enjoy both lake and mountain views from your balcony. Has a parking lot in front of the house. Tenant was very friendly. Breakfast was great. She asked us what we prefer for breakfast and that was very nice of her. It is a very quite place so you get a good sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfest Chiarina. It is situated in a lovely village in a beautiful valley close to Mendrisio. The facilities are recently renovated and are very comfortable. The host, Richi prepared an amazing breakfest with local ingredients every morning. He went above and beyond with advice on actitivities and helping out wherever he could.
If you look for something different, this is the place to go. An incredible anciant village, a host that is special and very friendly, speaking pretty much all european languages - and has a lot to tell.
Everything is somewhat different than everywhere else, very good choice if that is something you look out for.
Loved the conversion of a modern fit-out in old building. The personal touch from the caretakers each morning was great and I loved the communal kitchen. Air conditioner was amazing! Beautiful village.
