Excellent and fast communication with the property manager. The walking distance to restaurants, train station and Lake Oeschinensee was great. Public pool next door to apartment worked out perfect. Outdoor porch was perfect for looking at the mountains and enjoy the sound of the water.

Location is great! Kandersteg is a beautiful town, the views are amazing and you get to enjoy them from the bedroom window. everything is within minutes walk.
The apartment is nice and cozy, and even though it is located on the main road, it is quite. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but has most amenities needed for small meals. Another plus is a shared washer and dryer in the basement.

99% of the reviews for this hotel are about the beauty of Kanderstag not the hotel. Yes the hotel is in a great Swiss village but the actual hotel is old with very poor facilities, No fridge, no USB sockets, no air con and the Junior Suit was SMALLER then most other 1* hotel rooms.
The breakfast is a very average continental self service...... to be honest if you pay £334 you would expect better.
Stunning location. Kandersteg is a loverly village with restaurants and a supermarket. We took the cable car up to the lake which was stunning. The hotel manager was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent don't be fooled by the two star rating this hotel was brilliant. Leabing
Very responsive and friendly host, helped us on a few occasions. This place ticked all the boxes and kandersteg was a great little village to visit with loads to do! Lake Oeschinensee is definitely a must see
The hotel location was brilliant if you wanted to stay in a small village with plenty amenities nearby. We were very grateful for our room being upgraded due to our wedding anniversary. The view from our room was amazing!
Stayed at the hotel for one night and loved it! The hotel is charming and authentic, the rooms are with low ceilings (though it adds to its unique character). While the bathroom was small, it didn’t detract from the overall experience.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the village is perfect for a leisurely stroll. The views are simply amazing. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed a good breakfast.
The host (Piotr) is SUPER nice and extremely helpful. I had an incident were he had to drive an hour to help me solve my issue. He texted me almost daily offering help. Thank you Piotr🌹

The village is quiet , beautiful and nice for short walking. Also Blausee and oschinensee are very close by. Less than an hour drive to interlaken and lauterbrunnen.
All The staff at hotel Spycher are wonderful, Jasmine is exceptionally kind and helpful..The food was very good, including the breakfast. The position in the village is good, convenient and quiet.
The room we had was basic but it was good value and such a friendly pension.
