I love everything in this apartment. It is just wow! Artistic, well equipped and very clean. The location was in quiet and green area near to the center, just 10 min walk to the main street. Happy to found that unique place! :)

The hotel was so comfy that it felt like home away from home! The location cannot get any better and is right at the bridge of the Aare river, offering stunning views. Everything you need is at your door step- restaurants for delicious local food, leafy forests for hiking, and beautiful old city centre for shopping/ tourism. The living space itself is beautiful- historic with a modern twist. There is an entrance hall, living room with a comfy sofa, 2 lovely bathrooms with large beautiful modern showers, a comfortable kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine (which makes delicious coffee 24/7), a bedroom with a closet, a small adjusted tv room, and a beautiful spiral staircase. As per other reviewers, there were a lot of tourists around the hotel during the busy hours of the day, but it did not disturb us. The rooms in the first floor, including the bedroom, are well- hidden from the view. The rooms in the ground floor area (kitchen & living room) have transparent window curtains, which do a perfect job of preserving your privacy, while allowing light inside. The noise levels were minimal on the ground floor and almost non-existent on the 1st floor, where the bedroom is. Towels in the bathrooms were large and soft, and you also get slippers and bathrobes. The place is very clean and tidy with daily housekeeping visits. There also were loads of windows, which was great for airing. Breakfast was good, and was delivered contactless to your door in cute boxes and bottles. It included traditional Swiss selection of regular cold meats, cheeses, breads, fresh milk and yogurts, croissants, granola/ cornflakes, juices, and at times also fresh fruit platters with strawberries etc. Throughout the stay, we felt very welcome and well taken care of- the hotel staff went above and beyond. A special thanks to Sara, and to the rest of the team who have made this stay unforgettable! P.S. Watching bears was also a bonus!

Bern is a beautiful city but expensive to stay in, plus we had the car, so this apartment outside Bern was ideal, as the owner provides a safe secure underground parking space (12 Swiss franks per day) with a travel pass for free travel on trams & trains, and easy access into Bern. The apartment has everything you need and is clean. It is in a quiet residential district which feels strange when you are on holiday, but it serves a purpose as you dont spend much time in it when you are visiting the city. Our host was not there to greet us, but was super responsive, and helped with questions e.g. tram time tables (via messaging through Booking.com). You can tell that the host cares as they do provide lots of treats on arrival - water, beer, wine and snacks - a nice touch.

Very good location - in the city centre but quiet. Just next to Bernmobil, the best public transport operator in Switzerland ;). Staff was extremely helpful, much above the typical average (had some unusual request regarding short term parking, which in most cases would be refused). Previously stayed at two other hotels in the city in the similar price range, but this one was much better. Will be back!
A wonderful residential area, extremely quiet, charming villa, great accommodation. All creature comforts and we felt instantly at ease. A definite recommendation!
The room was really nice, it is basically a selfcheck in hotel, so everyrhing is automated, but that was a good thing, everything is very organized to make it work. I will definitely be back if I return to Bern, super nice place, I loved the experience at this Villa - Apartments.
Most comfortable beds of our whole trip. Great breakfast and location. Super easy to get to with the tram. Bern is lovely. Clean, well appointed. If you don’t book the entire apartment to your self it might feel like an expensive hostel since you would share the bathroom, kitchen and common spaces. I would recommend Villa Alma, it was lovely.
Great to have use of a kitchen, garden and terrace. Complimentary coffee available and good selection of teas - much appreciated. The villa is located near a tram stop which goes straight to the town centre in 10 mins, very handy. The staff were very helpful. A relaxed and comfortable stay. It’s a great place to return to after busy days out sightseeing. Would definitely stay again.
The lady who managed the villa was very helpful, especially in explaining the parking system. I also liked that the phone hung at the front door, so if you don't have a Swiss sim card, you can call from it. I also liked the hotel check-in system. The keys were in a locked box to which you had the code in the message. Also, check out when you threw the keys in the mailbox.
