Picturesque view from the room, within walking distance of train station (or you can catch a bus), comfortable bed, and everything was clean. Michela was an excellent hostess and prepared wonderful, traditional Italian dinners- definitely worth an added expense. Breakfast was included with a variety of treats. Michela was also very helpful in providing vouchers for local travel and sights.

Suitable accommodation for budget traveling, fridge in the bedroom, fan for some air flow, common bathroom was clean and nicely renovated, private parking. The host didn't speak English but I didn't have any problem to understand the directions about the check-in / out procedure

The location is incredibly central, in the very heart of the old town surrounded by beautiful buildings and with the Saturday market at your feet in front of the cathedral. You can also enjoy the garden with view on the castel. The vast apartment is surrounded by three castles, 5', 12' and 40' hike away. There are groceries stores nearby and COOP/Migros are not far either. It took us about 12' to walk 700m from the train station. This is a perfect place to stay for many days and do day trips to Ascona, Locarno, and Lugano. We like that the host left oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, coffee & tea, etc. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. There are multi-plugs for all kinds of phones in the living room and bedroom, very practical. The only recommendation would be some material or paintings on the walls to have better acoustics.

Magnifique appartement, on a adoré l’architecture.
The breakfast was extra, so we went into the village. It was a Saturday and that is market day. Don't miss it. You will find a lot for breakfast there.
Wonderful garden, with a pond and lilies surrounded by purple and yellow irises. We ate outside accompanied by a frog chorus. Our breakfast was delicious, everything home-made. We opted for the evening meal which was one of the best meals we have ever had. If you are going to Villa Del gusto you really should book yourselves Michaela’s evening meal.
