The staff at Hotel La Perla were all lovely and friendly and polite. I lost an expensive bracelet whilst there, and I believe a member of staff handed it in at reception, which I was very grateful for.
We stayed in the villa, which was spacious, and it was cleaned to a high standard.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast each morning.
THIS VIEW 😍 I never knew I could visit a place that had snow capped mountains and palm trees at the same time! Our concierge described Ascona as a “sleepy village” and I couldn’t agree more! Such a cute place and our room was wonderful! We loved sitting on our terrace and it was conveniently located near restaurants. We walked around near the lake a bit before leaving in the morning. If you want a lovely spot to stay in Ascona, I highly recommend Hotel Elvezia ☺️
Ascona is a magnificent village. The hotel is well located close to the center of Ascona and a beach and well served by bus. Hotel with a very pleasant terrace, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The manager and staff are very welcoming. Good sweet and savory breakfast. Parking and restaurant in the hotel. Lots of interesting cultural events in Ascona and Locarno
Location was quiet. Calm and peaceful. Restaurant offers good food. Staff are generally friendly. The heated indoor pool was great. The live duo band in the evening was also a nice touch.
The staff at the reception were kind and helpful especially when we needed assistance.
I didn’t know that there were villas. If I had known, I would have definitely booked a stay there as it looked comfortable.
My stay was excellent! Rita and Giuseppe are amazing Host: very warm people, always smiling and very helpful. Giuseppe prepared every morning fresh delicious breakfast: different breads, croissants, fruit and veggies, eggs, charcuterie, local fresh cut cheese, homemade jams, yoghurt and all variations of coffee and tee.
The location is perfect: 10m away from the lake, very central and very well connected to the small villages around and Locarno. I used only the public transport.
