The host, Val, was very nice and met us at the door upon arrival to introduce herself and give us a tour. The breakfast was good w/eggs in the fridge, fresh French and rye bread, cereal, etc. There were baskets in the fridge for each room too. A little on the small side, but we made it work. The cleanliness was great, too. Bathrooms cleaned each day.

It's maybe a bit far from downtown, if that's what you're after, and perhaps has lower accessibility if you don't have a car - but it's fine if you have a car. There's plenty of street parking and stores offering groceries and alcohol only a short drive away. The bonus of that, though, is that the neighborhood is very quiet for sleeping at night.
Check-in and check-out was a breeze - everything is fully automated and remote. I never actually met the hosts in person. Smart locks were set to portions of my phone number, so they were easy to remember. Big smart TVs all over the place, robust and stable wifi, excellently stocked kitchen and bathroom, clean linens and towels.

Host was so rude. Hard to find parking. In mid night when I arrived no one there to help. Room was cozy. Washrooms was leaking and tap was loose. Was a terrible stay.

I had been at the Nor Villa in 2012. Since then it has vastly improved! Other patrons I met at the Nor Villa were very nice as well. I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Winnipeg.
Clean, quiet, fire place, big TV, updated , big space, bed size, nicely renovated, seperate entrance with code lock, easy parking, nice toiletries, slippers, fridge , kettle, dishes. I could order food and have cutlery n dishes there. Water cooler was a nice touch! Loved the decor. Walking distance to Osborne village pubs, cafes, restaurants, grocery is 2 minutes walk.
The room was very clean. We had heard that the Norvilla had a bit of a bad reputation for noise and uncleanliness, but we didn't find any of that during our stay. The staff were also very helpful. We would have no hesitancy in staying there again.
Beautifully presented, self contained studio in the Osborne Village neighbourhood. I enjoyed being within walking distance of shopping and trails. The host, Yuliya, was communicative, friendly and very well organized! The price was reasonable and great value.
I highly recommend this accommodation to anybody travelling alone!
