Its a room at a winery ... with a few other wineries within walking distance (dozens within 5 miles). Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The setting is great - I had a nice view of the southern part of the lake, the town of Penticton, and other wineries nearby from my balcony (was great to sit out there in the morning sipping on my tea). The other two rooms had balconies that looked directly across the lake). The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. Coffee/tea station with shared refrigerator, ice maker, etc. in the hallway between the rooms. Light breakfast (mainly pastry and fruit) was left in the hallway to use or not each morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional! Warm and friendly owners who made me (and my dog) feel very welcome. The room is very spacious and comfortable with a lovely en-suite. They have thought of every tiny detail to make this a comfortable stay. Extra blankets, beach towels, bottles of water, interesting tea selection, good coffee, bath salts and other toiletries...the list goes on. Breakfast was fabulous and Gary was happy to make it for exactly when I needed it even though that was different each day. Quiet neighbourhood and close to lots of amenities.

The B & B is located in a residential area. The rooms are on the backside of the house and have Adirondack chairs just outside the door. The hosts have a lovely garden and a large oak tree provides shade.
Don and Ann, the hosts, are engaging and attentive. The breakfast is top notch; served at 8 am to the room. The room is clean, spacious and has a small refrigerator. The bathroom is very good too. The water pressure is excellent and so are the towels.
I was also very pleased to be able to use the hose to wash my gravel bike; I rode the 2-day Kettle Condo and the wash was most welcomed! Thank you Don for settling this up!
As for the proximity to Penticton (the starting point for day 2 of the race), it's15 minutes away. I would return hete!
