It is a very large, new, modern house. It has huge rooms and we were upgraded to the houses’ main bedroom which is very large and exceptional. The same goes for the ensuite bathroom. It is very modern and huge. The house was built to accommodate a large family and is currently used somewhat like a hotel. There are 4 bedrooms in all. It has a huge deck facing the river. The beautiful kitchen is meant for large meal preparations with a 6 burner gas stove, sit up bar and eating area, only the essentials were present - lots of coffee, creamers, essential dishes and utensils but 90% of cupboards are empty and bare.
Upon check-in, guests must provide photo ID and a bank issued credit card for a pre-authorization of room and tax charges, as well as $100. for security.

A century-old garden villa, located near the University of Ottawa, next to the famous Byward Market, extremely convenient transportation. The owner, a chatty old man who has traveled the world in retirement, is hospitable, recommending Ottawa attractions and food, and sending guests a map. Dogs are so cute, so docile. We rented on the second floor, the space was independent, the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was croissants and muffins, which were delicious. All in all, it was a great experience, thank you!

For a short term stay, an excellent location. The compact yet fully equipped and clean apartment was ideal for a business trip that required a comfortable place to relax and sleep. The staff in the reception were very pleasant and helpful.
This property is a scam. A complete and utter scam. The owner did not show, did not return calls or messages and did not provide details for me to get into a 2000 unit condo building or what the unit # was. The condo building also has strict rules about owners providing short term rentals. I have complained with Booking.com also. Do not book this property.
The breakfast was amazing. Everyday I could choose what I want to eat and drink and Pierre (the host) cooked it fresh in the kitchen. It was delicious :)
The B&B is perfectly located. You can walk to all sightseeing places within half an hour or less. And there is a bus and trainstation five minutes away.
Also Pierre knows so much about the village and it´s places to see, same as about the canadian history. I never got bored!
location was excellent. Bed was comfy, rooms (2) for 3 nights in total -was small: cuz i have stayed in a larger room at the HI which has been sold & taken over as a homeless shelter. For the price & comfort the Backpackers was adequate & staff was helpful. Fulfilled my short term expectations.
