Finding the hotel, the location up on the hill overlooking Quebec Old City was fabulous! The room on the second floor had a nice view looking across the river. Plus, the first night was a magnificent fireworks display over the River that I watched to the end from the hotel. May have been one of the best fireworks displays I've seen. I know this isn't every night. Loved the inexpensive Ferry ride, roundtrip, to the Old City and back. Walkable 10 minutes or so from the hotel. Uphill coming back but just took more time. Very nice restaurants across the street with small grocery store a block away. Loved the small balcony off the bathroom and the wonderful view from he windows. The common kitchen and dining room area was fantastic with beautiful full window views of the river and also the quaint street and houses outside.

Cap Diamont is a special place with a feel of Old Quebec.
The room, bed and shower were great. The breakfast room is uniquely designed where an excellent continental breakfast is served. The bed and pillows were great. We were even asked about our bed sheet preference-linen or percale-before our arrival.
It’s only a short walk down the hill to the center of the upper town center. We were greeted on our arrival with an introduction to the town layout, directions, and restaurant recommendations.
B&B Chez Hubert is located in the heart of Old Québec, just 2 minutes’ walk from the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site. Free Wi-Fi access is available.

From the custom breakfast, the city tips do/don’t and clean and soft linens, to the heat turned on when we arrived late at night.
Les Lofts St Jean features accommodations within 500 yards of the center of Quebec City, with free Wifi and a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave.
The stuff was outstanding, the place -- very nice and cosy, and right next to the train station (not useable for trips to Quebec), the village is nice and a huge park with waterfall is nearby. They provided me with a shuttle to the airport even after hours, and and overall the ambiance was very good!
