The Crimson Jasper is centrally located in the village of Jasper, Alberta where it is close to all the amenities a tourist will require. It contains a licensed restaurant which is very expensive and we declined to eat there after reviewing the dinner meal prices. Within a 7 minute walk from the hotel, we discovered several affordable restaurants and later on watched the NHL Stanley Cup hockey playoffs in the Jasper Brewing Company establishment with a few craft beers. Great atmosphere and would highly recommend it for the thirsty pallet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Showed me the options available to upgrade to the newer building. The original building is older and outdated but is comfortable and clean. Got everything that we needed for the stay. Many Parking spots are available. A bit walk to the village but still walkable. Didn't hear noise from the traffic at all.
The villa is at the back fronting the bush. So there were lots of mosquitoes. Whenever I wanted to get into cottage, mosquitoes follows, and thus inside room, I have lots of insect bites. Parking is a little bit tight as well.
Spotless clean homestay with private entrance. Comfortable rooms and bathroom, with compliment bathroom and coffee amenities to make you feel welcome.
Located just 3 blocks from the village center.
Free and easy parking just in front of the house.
Excellent stay
Cabins are very comfortable, camping site is nice, location is good if you want to be a bit further away from Jasper Village but close(r) to nature sights.
