Well kept guesthouse in the middle of the wine region in a beautiful village. Clean and comfy. Airconditioning worked well (though kept a funny sound). Self service wine cabinet downstairs. Welcoming staff.
The house was amazing! So beautifully organized, we had everything we needed for a nice short stay. The location is wonderful. You can see the entire village and river from the top garden.
Pension is situated in the beautiful, very historical old building in the centre of Durnstein. It is probably the most nice village in the region and is the perfect base to discover Austrian Danube valley. Guest are provided with the free parking right outside of the centre, only few minutes walk to the accommodation. The room was nice, clean and cosy, the breakfast was available every day until 9:30 and it was good. Pension has a small terrace yard, which is perfect to sit and enjoy the sun and read a book.
The hotel is a historical building that used to be serve as an Abby. It is such a beautiful building decorated with historical artifacts. The gardens and the restaurant although understated, are beautiful with view of the Danube river and vineyards all around. We hired bikes from the hotel and there are so many bike routes to take to go to nearby villages. or simple ride by the river.
The apartment is located right at the center of the Durinstein village and at the beginning of a hiking trail leading up to the castle. Midway on the hiking trail you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Wachau Valley, at least the part near Durinstein.
Beautiful, "old style" accomodation in the beautiful setting of Wachau village Dürnstein. Spacy room with great view to the hotel garden and Danube river. Clean, comfortable. Tasty and rich breakfast.
The apartment was perfect, so clean and bright! The bathroom and kitchen were newly renovated and nicer than mine at home! 😉!! The host was lovely!!
if you have a car, there is a spot out the front to easily park. A big Thank you for a wonderful stay in such a pretty village!
A lovely house set in a pretty location out of the mainstream of tourists. Close proximity to the village, bus service, bicycle rental and to the walks on the mountain. The house is very clean and the owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The house is situated right next to the mountain and our room had a verandah
