It is very atmospheric and is located right in the centre of the city. The staff is very nice and the breakfast had plenty of options. The only thing I'd wish for its more options for vegans such as spreads and fake meat. But overall, I was extremely happy with my stay!

Located in the centre of Gothenburg, just 800 metres from Gothenburg Central Station and 1.7 km from Ullevi, Husbåten Vega 2 Göteborg City provides accommodation with sea views and free WiFi. Probably the most surreal staying overnight experience in Gothenburg, although it should be viewed more like a camping on a boat in the city. The instructions of the host were super clear, you just find your boat yourself and you can enter it by yourself. The insides are bigger than you expect by looking at the boat itself, and it theoretically fits up to 4 people. The hardest part was to understand how to get the power working, although there are instructions provided for that as well. The location is super convenient and feels safe, close to the center and opera house.

Husbåten Vega 1 Göteborg City is a recently renovated boat in the centre of Gothenburg, less than 1 km from Gothenburg Central Station and 1.8 km from Ullevi. The house boat was a real treat. It’s really close to the city center and dozens of shops and restaurants. The toilet/shower facilities were very clean and super nice, better than any shared hostel bathroom we’ve been in! The boat itself is cozy. We shared the cubby in the back and slept quite well and fit comfortably in the sleeping area (though we aren’t very tall— 165 & 175). Definitely recommend to try it out for a new and unique experience!
