Wonderful location with exceptional views of the Douro River. All of the staff were exceptional. We were able to drive to a private dock on the property to catch a river boat cruise.
Felipe was lovely! The staff were super nice. We went out on a boat tour one morning and it was beautiful. Felipe took us all around and told us stories about Duoro river, it was my favourite part of my stay! The location of the Bungalows is great for the stunning views with sunsets and sunrises over the mountains! Very picturesque. But there is nothing around for restaurants or groceries. Plan your food in advance! There is one restaurant down the road but it's only open from 12pm for lunch. It closes by dinner time. Great food though!

It's a lovely location, quiet with a great hill top breeze. The pool is really beautiful and I love the fact the swallows come every summer and skim the top of the water for a seconds as they fly over it. The space is really nice, breakfast is good and the hotel offers a lot of activities you can book up. The Wine tasting at Quinta do Ermervoira (spelling) and the boat trip are particularly good. If you go with children book one the suites- great value for a whole family. Also a very romantic spot for a couple.
This winery experience was wonderful and cozy. We hiked the vineyard, took a boat ride on the Douro River, did a wine tasting, watched olive harvesting and dined in the lovely restaurant. We close our eyes and can see the amazing terraced vineyard as the backdrop to our 3 week Portugal road trip.
This is an exceptional place. All of it! The beauty, the ambiance, the welcoming staff… I had no idea how beautiful it would be here. The walking trails are amazing and to listen to the audio tour while there teaches you about the vineyard and it’s history. We took the boat tour and loved it (?an hour is perfect- more would have been too much for me). The pool and the picnic lunch were really special. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Truly a hidden gem. I feel lucky we found it.
This place is over the top! Our room (actually a bedroom and a sitting room) were gorgeous and super comfortable. We ate dinner there both nights and were blown away by the quality, the portions, the wine, everything! (The owner makes very good wine and port AND is an excellent chef!) Then we sat with the other guests and had port and conversations; it was so relaxing! We took both a train ride and a boat ride on the Douro; it was all close by. Great place to visit!

The hotel is very close to Pinhão so it was easy to catch a boat ride and the wine cellars for wine tasting. Also, the view from the room was stunning and ample parking in front of the hotel.
