We arrived off the boat early and called to leave in our bags. We were told to wait on the cafe terrace and given coffee and cake while our room was prepared, which didn't take long. The gesture was much appreciated. The location, breakfast and staff are wonderful.
What was lovely was the simplicity of the hotel, and the beauty of that. The staircase so wide and elegant, the staff all so friendly and helpful, the desk and the room and the view was simple and fabulous. I had a fishing boat outside my room every day, which went out to fish at night; this was wonderful to observe all day, the crew hanging or mending nets, hauling in ropes and just chatting, the seagulls circling above. Great location on the seafront.
