There is also a seating area and a fireplace. teresa,our owner was welcoming and made sure everything was shipshape and toosey lass fashion.you had every possible thing you needed to have a well equiped stay.it was strange not to have a tv on for three days,but after a little while you realised that its definetly not needed on a short break like ours.will most definetly having a few short stays during the next year,mick & hazel medway

Location was nice, lovely boat very cosy
A lovely peaceful place to get away from it all. The kitchen was well equipped, the mattress was lovely and comfortable and it was great to sit on the deck and watch the birds, boats and tide coming in and out. The owners were very welcoming and gave us a bottle of wine and shortbread on our arrival which was a nice surprise.
Just like photos really nice interior moored in an old boatyard rather than a swanky marina. Friendly Host greeted us and showed us around the boat, nice easy parking, pleasant walk up to the village.. ate fish and chips then relaxed
Very clean, friendly staff, value for money. Near train station for Cambridge, London. We had an inexpensive room. It was basic but it was always cleaned. New towels everyday toiletries. Tea coffee making facilities. On-site Indian restaurant . Boathouse good reasonable food. Surrounding areas lovely. Loads to do. Will revisit for sure
On the arrival, getting codes was easy. Inside the boat wasp perfectly clean and ready to live in
Boat was clean. Plenty of hot water. Powerful shower. Boat was so cosy. Had everything you wanted in there. Beautiful inside.
It was a very cosy boat
this is a unique experience for any one who has never lived on a boat. The house boat is very comfortable and cosy for two. Every thing is catered for heating for the cold , fans for the heat even a log fire stocked with logs and coal. All cooking facilities you need microwave, induction hob kettle toaster.fridge Hot water via electric immersion tank. Great marina environment and views. Warm welcome from Teresa the owner who explained how every worked, clear instructions also to hand, Tea coffee etc
It was the first time we have stayed in a house boat and we really enjoyed whole experience
Discretely tucked away next to the Yacht Haven marina The Ferry Boat was an excellent choice for our overnight on the Crouch River. The property has been beautifully renovated. The room and everywhere else was fresh and spotlessly clean. The shower was great. Breakfast was magnificent. Plentiful and delicious. Staff were always engaging, delightfully polite and eager to be helpful.
