Located in Rochester, the recently renovated Inner Dowsing Lightship provides accommodation 2.8 km from Rochester Castle and 4.2 km from Chatham Train Station. Great accomodations and location! Breakfast was really good. Slept great. Also a great shower.

Sea Dream 42ft Beautiful 2 bedroom boat, a property with a bar, is set in Sandwich, 7.5 km from Sandown Castle, 10 km from Deal Castle, as well as 13 km from Granville Theatre. I note this is a first review, so I will try to provide a comprehensive account. This was a wonderful surprise. The boat is beautifully decorated, totally fresh and clean and with lots of thoughtful touches, fitted with a compact but comfortable and relaxing lounge with generous sofa, TV and internet. Better than an hotel - which hotel provides chairs and table on the deck to sit in the sun and watch the tide (and ducks) flowing past? I didn't require any heating, but saw it to be present and found no difficulty drifting to sleep with a peaceful lapping of waves on the hull. There is a very good double with ensuite and the cutest single, also ensuite and a fabulous shower. I felt like the captain on my own mini- superyacht. There is a well thought out galley (kitchen) that I think is best for breafast and simple meals. No need to worry about any catering needs in Sandwich (two minutes walk from Sea Dream's peaceful mooring) that was a real find. A historic period gem almost lost in time but with plenty of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes with friendly welcomes and some unusual shops. I learnt there are plenty of events to enjoy throughout the year and it is also handy for visiting bigger places such as Canterbury. I will certainly visit again and hope Sea Dream will be available. A luxurious adventure at less cost than a motorway hotel.

Unique Houseboat Experience I Central City Break, a property with a shared lounge, is set in York, 1.5 km from York Minster, 33 km from Bramham Park, as well as 35 km from Harrogate International... Really spacious, excellent location.

Luxury Boat Stay Liverpool sleeping 6 WiFi is set in Liverpool, 1.6 km from Albert Dock, 2.4 km from Philharmonic Hall, as well as 2.6 km from Liverpool Central Station. The location was perfect. Close to the city centre but very peaceful. The barge was clean, stylish and comfortable. Lovely hosts who met us and showed us around. Access to the wharf was easy. Really generous, providing milk, tea, coffee and a welcome cake. The kitchen was well kitted out and we had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had an amazing two nights sleep. The shower and bathroom facilities were also top notch. A really welcoming and stylish feel to the whole experience and we would happily book again.

A good location for a hassle-free stay in London, Le Sorelle is a boat surrounded by views of the lake. The property features a garden, shared lounge and private parking among other facilities. It was cosy and the owners were so accommodating. Great parking. Lovely breakfast Lovely atmosphere

River Mill Retreat is a recently renovated boat in Little Hallingbury, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Absolutely beautiful, couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Historic Dutch Barge, Idyllic location features a terrace and is located in London, within just 700 metres of Tower Bridge and 1.2 km of Sky Garden. Had a great time on the boat, lovely marina, nice outdoor seating area, the boat itself is very comfortable and location was great

Providing a garden, a terrace and free WiFi, Lovely Canal Boat in Little Venice by Paddington for Family & Friends is a recently renovated boat 1.8 km from Lord's Cricket Ground and 1.7 km from... The boat experience was even nicer than we expected and we'll never forget it! Thomas took good care of us and even took us for a lovely trip in the canal with our friends. The location was perfect, a quite and romantic place far from the city chaos and still just a short walk from Paddington station (also close by to other underground stations). We also took a walk to Portobello market, just 20 minutes walk from the boat. Nice restaurants in the area. Back home now we are longing for staying at the boat on our next trip to London again!
