The boat is located 6 km from Windsor Great Park and 2.4 km from Royal Holloway University of London. Great location, easy to find and very quiet. We stayed with our two teenage daughters who both initially were horrified when we told them that we're staying on a boat this year, instead of a hotel. After approx 2 mins of stepping on the boat, they were very happy with our choice of accomodation. The boat is very clean and well presented, the pictures don't give it enought justice! We were hit by a storm and consequently worried about getting a good nights sleep, but the boat ballasts did their job and we all had a good night. Most reviews mention Emma, and for good reason, wonderful welcome and excellent demo on how to use the boats facilities etc. If the starts align and it works, we'll be back.

The location is amazing. Sitting on the terrace, with a glass of wine, whilst watching the swans and various small and large boats go along the river Thames was beautiful. The rowing club is just opposite so we could watch them too. Our privilege rooms also looked out over the river so that was wonderful. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good; fresh and plentiful. Ample parking, and easy to find.
Welcoming lady on reception and lovely clean room. Breakfast was fabulous! Lovely location for all attractions. We went to races so near to the boat launch too! Just a shame it rained and rained! Nice evening bar drinks too! Thankyou! 10/10
The hotel is right on the River Thames and we had wonderful views from our room which had a small balcony looking over the river. The hotel is undergoing a change in management and the restaurant is not currently open however there are some restaurants within walking distance. The receptionist and barman were very helpful. Highly recommend the boatshed for lunch or dinner and it is within walking distance of the hotel.
Beautiful historical property, boating on the river was an amazing experience. Thoughtful touches such as birthday celebration on arrival and addition of a pregnancy pillow was kind and welcome, and gave a great first impression. The greeter / valet was great, very kind and positive.

A very comfortable and spacious en suite bedroom. Parking adjacent to the hotel and very pleasantly surprised that there was no charge for the 24hours we spent there. The hotel is well located, particularly for the purposes of participating in a river cruise ie as the rear of the hotel backs on to the jetty from where the boats depart Staff were also very helpful , efficient and courteous and the facilities available surpassed my expectations
