Great location, right in front of a big lake on which we had a nice view. The hotel with appartment are only a nice walk (15-20 min) to the beautiful sea and beach, good for surfing, swimming and pleasant walks. A sailing and surf center nearby as well as Facilities to rent a pedalo boat on the lake with slide. We enjoyed the good food offered by the restaurant catering as well as the breakfast and lunch. We also had dinner in some of the pleasant restaurants around the lake and at the sea side.
The view is absolutely amazing ! Location is perfect too : in front of the beach, next to many restaurants and some shops, and right next to the “embarcadère” where you can take the boat to cross to Cap Ferret. You also get a bicycle shop next door. You can literally park your car in one of the free parking streets nearby and do everything by bike or walk.
Excellent help from staff with taxis. Good breakfast and very clean rooms. Location was excellent to pick up our boat from Le Mas d’Agenais.
What a beautiful place to stay. The gardens are beautiful and take time to find and relax in the boat house overlooking the river. Stunning swimming pool. You can book the water taxi into Bordeaux but we were happy to relax by the pool and enjoy the gardens.
It was a superb find just loved it. Beynac is a very beautiful Especially enjoyed Chateau Baynac, Castelnaud and the Marquessac gardens. The boat cruise trip and canoe from Vitrac to Beynac were wonderful. Virginie and Bruno were gracious hosts great breakfast served and highly recommend.
Great location especially for the old U-boat/submarine pen and walking path near river to center too. I liked that there was a little fridge in room which nowadays often not in rooms. Staff spoke good English and was nice
Ideal place to relax and enjoy Cap Ferret. Arrived by car and from then only needed the bicycle to enjoy the area, or the boat to transfer to Arcachon. Lovely host who took care on us!
The staff were so wonderful especially the man working at night. The room was clean and comfortable with a view of the boats in the marina. Beds very comfortable would stay again :)
