Great location, charming being on a boat, cool to have sparkling water on tap
In my home city of Prague, a boat-hotel was located just 500 metres from my childhood home. It dascinated me, but there was no reason to book it there. So when I was looking for cheap accomodation for one night in Dresden, Pöpellmann realy caught my eye! The room is tiny, but that is to be expected. Toilets and showers are clean, it's nice and quiet hotel and the staff is friendly. Breakfast bar is well-equipped and the food is tasty. See you next time!
I liked staying on a boat it was a novelty
Comfortable rooms and cosy garden. Local river boat line next to the property, taking you hourly to Bad Schandau town centre, with transport included in tourist tax price.
Cute room on a lovely boat ! It's super clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay there. Good price for value!
The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Staying on a boat was so cool! The room was small but very cozy with your own sink and radiator in the room.
Special kind of accomodation, good staff, good place and great price. Maybe a problem for very tall people, because the whole boat has low ceiling… However, exceptional stay!

This was a bit of a novelty stay, but it was lovely. Staff were helpful. Bare in mind the ceilings aren’t very tall. The outside area at the front of the boat was lovely to hang out in in the evening to cool down from a hot day.
