Exceptionally clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Felt safe and close walking to downtown (15-20 min) and metro stops (8-10 min) and bus to downtown is right outside. The roof top patio was a nice surprise to have a drink and watch the boats on the Rhine.
Yacht is lovely - really nice and spacious. Host at check in was brilliant with information and really good humoured - made the experience really friendly! Walking distance to train and town. Thank you for the stocked fridge with beer and wine and lovely coffee machine.
Location was walking distance from restaurants, boat tour on the Rhein River, entertainment and the Cologne Cathedral.

Clean,comfortable bright🤗!!! But surprising do not here trains as being so close. Some noise from other rooms. I am a senior lady travelling alone and don’t speak German. The staff were excellent at helping me out with any questions. A beautiful historic city💗!!! Also botanical gardens not to be topped. The lake and boats were fabulous!!! Thank you
The decoration was beautiful! The bed was a boat, and the bathrooms were beautiful (and clean, and spacious). The sixth floor was especially gorgeous. Amenities were perfect, the corridors were quiet, staff was helpful, and the tram nearby was only 10/15 minutes from the main train station. I would stay again.
I thought everything was perfect! I confess that when I booked it I didn’t pay attention to the fact that it gives a boat and I was completely in love with everything. From the service of all employees to the accommodations! It will certainly be a place that I will come back a lot and recommend to all my friends!
The hotel is a boat! It usually is a cruise boat during summer time, and during winter it stays on the deck. I must say I was extremely surpised when I found myself where I was going, as in the description I had not realized, I was booking into a boat! I liked the hotel, the cleanliness, the staff was so friendly! The location is beautiful from the inside. I had the room with the river view... I had the feeling that I was floating. It was really a quite surprising and beautiful experience.
A unique stay at a well-equipped houseboat! I enjoyed my one night stay from the curated playlist to the birdwatching. I would recommend taking your binoculars with you, as there are plenty of different type of birds around. The boat is located in a way that feels more secluded than it actually is, which was great.
Fantastic way to spend a night (or more) in Duisburg. Perfectly located close to the city centre. The Lore has very tasteful decor, was super cosy & well equipped. Host was great and provided a great check in & intro to the specifics of a stay on a house boat. We were greeted with a complementary bottle of sparkling wine & water and there was also very good quality complementary coffee and tea! Couldn’t have asked for more.
