Set 800 metres from St Bavo's Cathedral, Hotel The Boatel is located in Ghent. Free WiFi access is available in this boat. Would definitely stay here again. I loved sleeping on the boat and looking out onto the canal. Quiet and peaceful yet a fairly short walk into central Ghent. Lovely outdoor deck area to have a beer. Delicious breakfast. There are only 5 rooms so we met most of the other guests and enjoyed chatting with them and the host, Sven. Also very clean.

We greatly appreciated that gesture and it was a fantastic breakfast we found out he normally offers anyone ... i would take it. We also appreciated the fact that he was not bothered by the fact that we needed his assistance when we first arrived because of some technical issues we had along our journey. We would highly recommend this location.

A recently renovated property, Houseboat Jana - with sauna and terrace is located in Bruges near Belfry of Bruges, Market Square and Basilica of the Holy Blood. Location was perfect. House boat on the outer canal around Bruges, but short and pleasant walking distance into town. Also close to grocery stores for our stay. Very quite, roomy, comfortable and pleasant for our family and our friends to visit us. Exceptional facilities. We would definitely stay there again next time in Bruges.
