Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
We got all that we wanted and we had a braai at the place with wood provided and the place was near the Addo and also had a trip up the river on a boat and walked the sand dunes.
Loved the friendly staff, the boat house and restaurant and easy access to the supermarket. Loved the safari tour, it was all quite a unique experience.
River, warm pool, clean, option to rent a boat, spacious house, well equipped kitchen, very nice entertaining areas inside as well as outside the house.
The cottage is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Beautiful view from the deck, sunroom and front bedroom. The cottage is exceptionally clean(cleaned daily)and clean towels provided daily. It would have been nice if the cottage had an oven but other than that the kitchen is adequately equipped. We had amazing excursions with the Lodge, a morning game drive and a sundowner boat cruise. With both, our guides Christo and Beau, were fantastic!!!! We highly recommend the Lodge and their excursions and we'll be back!!!
Wayne was an incredible host – great communication and very friendly :) He made our stay very comfortable and organised a Sundays river boat cruise for us (unfortunately, we didn't end up going as the weather didn't hold up).
The morning breakfast was also very satisfying and nicely laid out. Our stay was only 1 night and we would have loved to stay longer!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the house boat. A real novelty. Would highly recommend going on the boat trip to go sand boarding on the sand dunes lower down the river.
We loved the experience and location of being on this houseboat. Unbeatable view. Super service by Captain Adam who took us boating and dune exploring. What an unforgettable experience.
