We did the 3D2N cruise. Group of 8 (including 3 kids). Clean and spacious cruise ship. Didn’t feel overcrowded. We departed from Hanoi and utilised their bus limousine transfer service (35usd return). We were ferried out to the cruise ship (took about 40 mins), but we were given a fantastic briefing and information on the area. Food was really good - there was something for everyone (buffet style). Activities were terrific and our kids said it was one of their favourite days from the whole trip (even beat Ba Na Hills!). We cycled on Cat Ba Island and went swimming where the kids could jump from the boat into the water (little dare devils!). We loved chatting with the staff and getting to know them. They were so kind and caring to all of our children.

We were on our honeymoon, and were upgraded to the best room on the boat, with a full honeymoon setup! Alex was a great guide. The boat itself (The Hera Grand) had just enough rooms for an intimate cruise, not too many people. The staff were very accommodating, the excursions and activities were so much fun. We went to a cave, hiked to the top of an island, kayaking etc... And there were even more activities that we unfortunately did not have the energy to participate in (no fault of the crew). The food and drink was plentiful and masterfully made. Couldn't have asked for more from a honeymoon!

The staff looked after us impeccably. Huge thank you to Mr Jimmy, Lien (Green), Hardy and Kent. The food was plentiful and delicious. The boat was lovely with only 10 cabins, and all presented beautifully. Wow! Absolutely fantastic experience, great sized rooms with interconnecting door for families. Food was great, and the staff were super attentive. The children were catered for specially and kept thoroughly entertained by Andrew. We loved the kayaking and jumping off the back of the boat, and the children made friends in the pool on top deck while we drank delicious cocktails.
Dan and the staff were A1 and made it so easy going on a fabulous boat with great suites and the dinning at all meals was over the top. Drinks and great views make for a must do holiday. Thanks again Dan the man for a trip that will take some beating.
It exceeded my expectations. The rooms, the activities, the food, the staff on the boat and at check in. Learning a bit about the area and the locals. That was on top of the fabulous scenery. The rapport some of the staff had with my autistic son was endearing. You had the option to do as much or as little as you wanted. YAY finally somewhere you can get off the grid for 5 minutes.
The personnel was very friendly, the program and planning was good and the activities were a lot of fun. Room was very comfortable and the food was good. We absolutely loved the cruise and would definitely recommend this to everybody, especially the 2 nighter. Also loved the guide on the day tour boat, Sam the Man.
Kevin was our host and was fabulous at looking after us. The boat was clean and modern. The food was great, lovely pool/jacuzzi. Great kayaking and swimming.
