Being on the river, watching the boats and having a balcony. The bar and food there is excellent. Pool and Jacuzzi very nice. Lots of parking, tiki bar outside. Walking distance to town . Fresh towels brought in daily we stayed here a few times and the other times we had rooms with wooden floors this room this time had rugs on the floor. I prefer the wooden floors so next time I’ll ask for that, but it was still nice.

The Clipper Inn is a cute old fashioned motel. The room had a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. There was a queen bed and a single bed. The location was amazing! We were able to walk to the local pizza shop and drive quickly to downtown Clayton where we had a delicious breakfast at Bella's restaurant. We also were able to take advantage of the free family day at the antique boat museum. We attended a wedding in nearby Cape Vincent and the drive there was only 15 minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The view out the screened porch off the breakfast area was worth the stay by itself. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They offered two complimentary tickets to a boat tour but we were in for a funeral and didn't have time but they offered to double the tickets for a future stay. That was very nice of them. Plenty of closet space in the room we stayed (St. Lawrence Suite) and there was plenty of towels, sheets, etc to accommodate our party of four.

The West Winds Motel and Cottages was extremely pleasant. The staff was very informative and helpful. They offered horse shoe pit, bochy ball, community pool, fire pit, and a boat dock.

It is very clean and cozy place with a beautiful location overlooking St. Lawrence River. the staff was professional and courteous. Karl was so helpful and suggested good places to visit like the antique boat museum and a cruise to Boldt castle from nearby pier. I recommend this place and definitely, I am coming back.
