The boat stay was a new and interesting experience for our family. We picked a rainy day for our overnight stay so the water was not calm. We were able to sleep through the waves but it wasn’t the calm waters and beautiful sunrise we hoped for.
The wifi on the boat is good.
Abel is a great host and had the boat clean and ready for our arrival. He had apples, cheese, croissants and fresh orange juice on board as well. He was so kind and even offered to host us at his home if we were not comfortable to stay on the boat. Abel is very good at communicating and responds promptly.

Tired of run-of-the-mill hotel stays? Want a unique and memorable experience? My adult grandson and I spent a week here. Comfortable accommodations with a welcoming fruit bowl, the cozy ambiance of an electric fireplace - electric heaters were provided but not necessary. (We used the electric fireplace for about 45 minutes to burn off the chill of morning fog.)
The single cabins with bunk beds are very narrow and take some getting used to but are totally comfortable. (I slept on the fold-out sofa bed in the lounge area.)
We entertained 4 for dinner and it was not crowded or cramped at all. Connected to Bluetooth and played my playlists through speakers in the lounge area and the aft deck. Great sunsets, good view of Porto, convenient location with sufficient free parking and also easy access to Uber and a large variety of restaurants and attractions where parking may not be so plentiful.
There are numerous areas on the boat for sunning or for quiet "me time". If you don't feel like going out, there is a cafe with an excellent variety of menu items and a full service restaurant just steps from the boat slip. Roomier showers and toilet facilities also available on the same plaza.
Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
was great, Osvaldo & Tiago couldn’t do enough for us, pick up from airport- meal on board as it was an evening flight. food was gorgeous, so generous, every juice, coffee, pastries,rolls, ham, cheese, yogurts 3 types of milk inc Oat. The boat was luxurious & very comfortable, very clean and well equipped.
The location on the river is amazing, we loved watching the river cruise boats & the sunsets. All the staff were lovely & so very helpful especially on check in. Breakfast on the terrace was plentiful & lovely on warm mornings. Loved the location as it was quiet but not too far from the centre of Porto.
Antonio was very attentive and kind. He was ready to help with everything. The location was beautiful. You can watch the boats passing on the river from the room. The room had everything we needed, such as a coffee machine, an iron, and a hairdryer. We felt a very positive energy as soon as we entered the room. It was an unforgettable experience for us. Thank you for everything.
Most helpful and friendly staff. Room with the view of the river. Short relaxing walk to the bridge, restaurants, local food including sardines and boat rides to see the six bridges. Visit to the famous Cathedral near by. Easy to get to the place by Uber from the bus or train station in Porto.
I love this boat so much! Much thought has gone into the style, design and comfort.

I have to add that Osvaldo went well out of his way to facilitate a bike box for 10 days and then took the time and effort to take it to the return location. So very kind!
A fabulous apartment, clean, nicely decorated and all the kitchen equipment you would need. The communal areas were comfortable with lots of space for relaxing. Nuria was a fantastic host, provided lots of useful information including restaurant recommendations and organised a boat trip for us and enabled an early check in. Ideal apartment for a family looking for a base to explore the city.
