The staff at the hotel were superb with the room and breakfast also very good and great value . The courtyard area to relax and share a bottle of wine in is lovely and a great location to get to the port for a boat trip to Berlenga or to walk down to the beach or a short trip along the walls.
Lovely staff and lovely accommodation. Very happy with it. Very central for us. 10 mins walk to Peniche Island boat tours and lots of cafés and restaurants a minute away

Good local market to buy fresh produce snd of course restaurants if you want to eat out.
Peniche is a great break away from larger busy cities.
Recommend taking the boat out to Berenga and going to the fort of John the Baptist.
Good communication. Claudia was waiting for us as we were a bit late checking in. Despite being late she didn't rush us and gave us good tips on where to eat etc. Had a little set up requested by the owner with chocolates etc as we just got married which was a lovely gesture, really appreciated. Did i mention breakfast was also wonderful? Super fresh and again with a smile and kindness. Above all, everything was very nice, we loved it. Super central (5-10min walk to the boats to Berlengas and city centre).
We loved our stay at Berlengas. It is such a gorgeous quiet part of the world with incredible views from the room, lovely walks and amazing hospitality from Susana and her family. When we stayed we felt like we had the island to ourselves (particularly when the day trip boats left) and really got to enjoy the quiet splendour of the island. Also an amazing dinner of freshly caught dory fish cooked to perfection, yum sides, melt in your mouth prawns and gorgeous wines. Would highly recommend staying here!
The house is fully equipped with everything, a full kitchen. The whole house is very nice and clean, comfortable beds, information brochure. Anything I needed was answered immediately. The location was good, 1.5 hours by car in Lisbon. The ocean coast is a wonderful, cozy little town, the harbor is worth seeing and taking a boat trip. They have a cool common area, lots of places to chill/work/hang out at. The bed space was nice, beds were placed a bit differently than in other hostels, so there was not so much noise. The location was very good, not so far from the bus station or the port where you can find the boats to Berlengas. The staff was nice and helpful, all very friendly and chill people.
