Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
Lovely staff, very small place so everyone very friendly. Facilities like pool, rancho with hammocks, and restaurant terrace are all excellent. Resident sloth! Make sure you take a boat out to Isla Mamay, it's lovely and the boats leave from right by Ranchos de Chalia.
Location was walking distance to Garrote so accessibility to boat rides to Isla Mamey was good. Nice tropical environment and the property operators were very friendly.
The beds were so comfortable. The staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The views were spectacular. Across the street are boats to great beaches, fishing, waterspouts.
Friendly staff that let me check-in early when I arrived tired and sweaty from Panama City. Coffee and a working wifi password offered with no prompting.
Two relaxing days in a quiet (and tiny) town before getting on the boat to Colombia. And we were offered a lift to the marina with all our stuff :-)
